The records include photographs and documents from his time as a Boy Scout and student at St. Joseph High School; information and photographs about Exercise Sweetbriar, a joint Canadian and U.S. training exercise in the Yukon and Alaska; information and photographs of the Prairie Command Display taken from community to community in Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan; slides, photographs and paper artifacts from Roland’s tour of peace-keeping duty in Korea in 1953-1954; military service records and publications; information on Veterans' benefits claims; documents and images of projects from his post-military electrical career; correspondence and related records on his land holdings; and personal records and photographs of family, friends, and community life.

The fonds is divided into nine series: Early Life, Exercise Sweetbriar, Prairie Command Display, Korean Service, Military Service, Veterans' Benefits, Work and Business, Land, and Personal Life and Family.

The records have been arranged in primarily chronological order by the Archivist.

The fonds consists of planning material, correspondence, permission forms, handouts from the events, 1 news paper article, 3 audio cassettes and 2 – 8 mm video tape cassettes from the 2004 gathering. Also included are the planning notes, correspondence, contacts lists for 2004 and 2005.

The fonds consists of 4 pages of memoirs, 3 CDs, and 73 photographs: 9 of Family and Friends, 26 of Grande Prairie and Area, and 38 of Growing up in the Forties and Fifties. One CD is a power point presentation of nostalgic Grande Prairie photographs produced for Grande Prairie ex-patriots reunion held in Edmonton on September 14, 2002. A second CD contains 134 photographs, 38 of which have been printed, borrowed from participants of a 2004 Grande Prairie Alumni reunion. A third CD includes 18 photographs, which have been printed.

The fonds consists of colour copies of 96 photograph album pages which have been laminated and bound into an album for display in the Grande Prairie Museum; and 90 digitized scans of photographs which have been printed. Subjects of the photographs include the trip to Clairmont by caboose in 1916, Trevor Farm and animals, photographs of people and groups in the Clairmont area including United Farm Women and the I.V. Macklin family, Fletcher and Anna Bredin and their farm Twin Shacks, road gangs building the Dunvegan Hill Road, Ann as a child and teenager on the farm, a trip to Aurora Ontario, students at Grande Prairie High School and Grande Prairie Business College ca. 1935, and a pack trip to Nose Mountain in 1935 with two Cree families as guides and providers.

The fonds consists of personal papers and a large collection of family photographs collected by Herman and Beatrice Trelle. The personal papers relate to Herman and Beatrice Trelle, Marie (Trelle) Baynton, Kay and Marie Trelle and Ronald Trelle. As well, there is a collection of articles written about the Trelle family for newspapers and magazines, and a few paper artifacts related to the community of Lake Saskatoon. The photograph collection includes the Andreas Trelle family, the Zimmerman family, the Herman Trelle family (including service in World War II), the Trelle family farm, the Trelles as World Wheat Kings and on their World Tour, community photographs from the Peace River Country, and some largely unidentified photographs of the extended family.
