Fonds consists of the administrative and operational records created, accumulated and used by CHCA television in their activities creating, recording, and editing television broadcasts for Red Deer and area.

Records include video tapes, photographs, negatives, slides, documents, contact sheets, and miscellaneous documents relating to C.H.C.A. Television and R.D.T.V. Topics include local sports, rodeo (local and around the province, Makin' 8 series), protests and strikes, crime, fundraisers and events, and local businesses. Some videos also include national and international news and sports, including NHL highlight reels.

Fonds consists of the administrative and research materials created, accumulated, and used by the Starting Anew Management Committee during their activities creating the Starting Anew project collecting stories about and by immigrants to Canada.

The fonds includes both oral history interviews and written submissions from community members who immigrated in the second or third wave of immigration to the Central Alberta area. The project involved approximately 75 to 100 participants coming from other parts of Canada and 25 different countries. The fonds also includes promotional material, administrative material, information sheets and general notes. The types of records include minutes, planning related documents, transcripts, photographs, audio interviews, and video recordings.

Consists of a photograph album 5 cm thick, containing ca. 200 photographs of places and persons in Alberta and Montana. The album was compiled by A. F. Buckham from his photographs of a cattle drive, and life in and around Dorothy, Alberta and the lower Red Deer River (1921-1924), Edmonton, Alberta (1930), the later half of the album deals with A. F. Buckham's student experiences at the University of Alberta and on a mining engineering field trip to southern Alberta and Montana (1933-1935). Bannerman (1888); brochures for Red Deer Municipal Hospital (1934) and the Old Morley Church restoration (1952); letters from Henry Stelfox (1958-1960); and the first issue of the Annie L.
