John A. (Jack) Crerar Family fonds
The fonds consists of four photographs and two documents. The photographs are of Jack Crerar in 1924 and Doug Crerar ca. 1940, Bear Creek Bridge ca. 1915, and a Winter Carnival ca. 1924. The documents are a program for the “First Annual Banquet of Grande Prairie Conservative Association at the Empire Hotel Monday, January 17, 1916”; and a program for the “Third Annual Peace River Musical Festival on May 25 and 26, 1927 at Grande Prairie Alberta.” There is also a legal sheet of paper containing a short history of the Alexander and Sarah Crerar family produced ca. 2000.

The series consists of records dealing with the operation of the Beaverlodge Advertiser. The records include lease agreements, staff records, vehicle expenses, financial, tax and insurance records. There is also sample layouts, printing samples and correspondence.
The printing samples include a program from 919th Sqdn. with the Royal Canadian Armed Forces called Power for Peace (1959), program from a Skating Carnival in Grande Prairie (1959), program from the dedication of The Alliance Church in Beaverlodge, a program from the opening of the Hythe Legion (1962).
A selection of receipts from businesses advertising in the paper were kept for the year 1984 as well as pamphlets about the community of Beaverlodge.
The collection consists of a business card for P.J. Tooley, his obituary, and correspondence about the P.J. Tooley plaque that was erected at the Grande Prairie Airport between Isabel Campbell and various people.
