Fonds consists of material relating to Southam's professional life, and personal interests. The fonds is divided into ten series which reflect the many items found in fonds. Materials in the fonds include recordings (both by Southam and by others), scores (both by Southam and others), programmes, articles about Southam, photographs (personal and professional), material used by Southam in mixed-media presentation, and other material.
File consists of three programs from events attended by Ann Southam. Includes a program from a 1996 performance of Maria de Alvear's "De Puro Amor/En Amor Duro" by Eve Egoyan, a 2002 performance by Egoyan of de Alvear's "Asking", and a 2010 memorial service for composer Mary Elizabeth Gardiner.
File consists of three copies of a brochure on Ann Southam produced by the Performing Rights Organization of Canada. Each brochure includes a brief biography and a list of works composed by Southam. Included in one brochure is a small handwritten note containing additions to the brochure.
File consists of material relating to "Light Lines/Sound Lines" Includes slides used in the performance, rejects, and extras (probably by artist Vivian Sturdee). The file also includes an audio-cassette tape. One side is labelled "Light Lines/Sound Lines"/Ann Southam, and the other side is labelled "Woman's Dance"/D. McIntosh.
