Fonds consists of Carter's personal records concerning the Senate. Records include correspondence, c.v.s of honorary degree candidates, Honorary Degree Committee files and Chancellor's Nominating Committee files.

The fonds consists of two drafts of an index entitled "School Districts of Alberta: a Listing of All Protestant Public Schools in the Province of Alberta". It includes lists of the school districts in alphabetical order and by school district number, with the dates they were organized and the legal descriptions of their locations. It also includes a list of school districts whose names have changed. There are photocopied photographs of some of the schools.

The fonds consists of one Capital Account Receipt Book from the East Smoky School Division for 1956-1961 which records debenture, grant and capital information; and financial records and Daily Registers from School Districts around DeBolt, some of the earliest districts in the division: Clarkson Valley (4663), Cornwall (4700), Darwin (4639), East Smoky (4198), Edson Trail (4082), Harper Creek (4968), Mountain Springs (4640), North Goodwin (5002), Ravenna (4822), Ridgevalley (4563), Simonette (4750), Smoky Valley (4682), Sturgeon Heights (4606), Sturgeon Lake (4858) and Valleyview (Calais, Sun Valley) School District 3992. The financial records consist mainly of Cash Books from before the formation of the East Smoky School Division, and detail receipts and expenses such as government grants, teachers’ salaries and building costs. The registers record the name, birth date, post office address, parents’ names and addresses of each pupil. There are Annual Financial Statements and Audited Reports, teachers’ declarations, yearly summaries called teachers’ returns, and transfer, attendance and promotion records. The research files and proof copy of the book Beginnings are also included with the collection.

Fonds consists of the administrative records created by the Eastview Junior High School during its activities as a school in the Red Deer Public School District No. 104.

The types of records include photographs of students and staff, yearbooks, student information cards, transfer cards, staff memos, report cards, evaluation report, playbills, Grade 12 English diploma exams, and minutes, correspondence and reports from groups such as the literacy project, parents' committee reports, Student Advisory Council, orientation, and School Community Council.

Fonds consists of records created and collected by Dr. Cooper over a forty year period in his various professional and personal roles as student; university professor, supervisor and advisor; colleague; scholar; author; consultant; son; father; and friend. The fonds is arranged into seven series, including: (I) Correspondence, 1958-1994; (II) Grants, awards and fellowships, 1980-1995; (III) Conferences and speaking engagements, 1979-1994; (IV) Publications and research notes, [ca.1973]-1996; (V) Activities, 1967-1997; (VI) Politics, 1970, 1977, 1989-1993; and (VII) Consulting, 1986-1991. Two of the series have been further sub-divided due to the extent and nature of the records they contain. The Correspondence series is divided into four sub-series, including: (1) School and undergraduate correspondence and associated material, 1958-1964; (2) General correspondence, 1974-1994; (3) Student correspondence, references and associated material, 1981-1989, 1991-1994; and (4) Correspondence with individuals, 1976-1994. File lists from recent material (1980-2003) from accessions 2002.010 and 2003.033 are not entered into Gencat. These records include research files, conference material, funding applications, personal records, activity files, manuscripts, correspondence, and reports.

Fonds consists of records collected or created by Dr. Fred Marshall during his affiliation with the Western Canada Concept Party and later with the Western Independence Party. These records include the development of the constitution, bylaws and policy statements for both parties, minutes, correspondence and sound recordings of the annual conventions and Board meetings and financial statements. The fonds also includes correspondence, publicity materials and election strategies from several of Dr. Marshall's campaign bids during provincial and federal elections, information collected by Dr. Marshall pertaining to various political issues, and ephemera such as the Western Independence flag, buttons, stickers, letterhead and stamps. Some personal records of Dr. Marshall are also included that relate to his activities as a medical doctor, and his general interest in political issues.

The fonds consists of Annual Reports and some minutes of the Task Force and the Edmonton Lutheran School Society (1993-2000) and one information brochure about the Task Force.

The collection consists of textbooks authorized by the Alberta Department of Education for use in Alberta's public school system.
