The fonds consists of Ernest's scrapbook about horses and horse racing, United Farmers of Alberta (UFA) mortgage and tax recovery legislation, and natural resources (1915-1936); scrapbook about racing (1947-1959) which includes some entries about dogs (1887-1893); and his commissioner of oaths appointments. Includes Kemp and McCarthy family history, First World War registration card, and photographs of the Adams family and their ranch, native people and the Stampede.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings and musical programs compiled by Eileen as a young girl (1934-1940), which includes programs and reviews of her own musical activities as well as those of her contemporaries: Mary Tierney, Noel Cook (later Noel Taylor), Mary Lesingham Shortt, Evelyne Pearson, Kathleen Tierney, Odette de Foras, and orchestra conductors Grigori Garbovitsky and Jascha Galperin. Many of the musical events were held at the Grand Theatre. The fonds also includes a folder of Evelyne Pearson's clippings, programs, letters and photos (1925-1937), which were also in the possession of Eileen Atkinson.

The 1920 diary describes preparations to emigrate, the voyage to Canada, the train trip across the country to Alberta, and her family's life in Calgary, including setting up house and finding jobs.
