Fonds consists of records pertaining to the formation and incorporation of the Glenora Skating and Tennis Club and the formation and incorporation of the Glenora Club, including amalgamation with Glenora Skating and Tennis Club, Royal Curling Club and Braemar Club and the subsequent transfers of membership, as well as various legal issue pertaining to the operations of the Royal Glenora Club. Fonds also contains records pertaining to various legal matters concerning the lumber merchant companies of Walter and Humberstone Limited and John Walter Limited of Edmonton and Strathcona, Alberta, and to legal matters concerning the tenancy and operation of the Heiminck Building in Edmonton, Alberta, owned by Isabella Heiminck. Fond contains correspondence, homestead and other land ownership records, leases, insurance policies, agreements, receipts, mortgages, tax receipts, minutes, shareholder lists, shares, timber berth records, financial records, notes, memorandum, annual reports, newspaper clippings, utility bills, and maps depicting subdivisions of Edmonton and Strathcona, Alberta. Fonds has been arranged into the following series: Royal Glenora Club (1955-1972); John Walter Limited (1897-1917); Heiminck Building (1901-1934).
