The collection consists of the report "Risk Analysis and Engineering Report for Government of the Yukon Territory", published in 1968 and the photographs which were removed from the report for preservation. The photographs are of schools and teacherages in Whitehorse.

The fonds consists of manuscripts and textual records created and collected by Rob Woodall through his research of the postal history of Yukon. Part of the collection is four volumes of material documenting the postal and social history of Porcupine River (Rampart House and Old Crow), including invoices, maps, photographs, receipts, correspondence, cancelled envelopes and postcards. There are also photocopies of letters from William Dempster, 1962, and letters from Woodall to Yukon Archives. The fonds also includes Woodall's twenty chapter manuscript of "The Postal History of Yukon Territory", completed in 1964, as well as correspondence with Alan Innes-Taylor regarding the compilation of the book and Woodall's other scholarly activities. There is also a typed manuscript entitled "Vilhjalmur Stefansson's Journey from Herschel Island to Fort Yukon, April 1918".

The fonds consists of the personal effects from Robert Bowman's estate. Included are diaries, collected ephemera, and photographs. The three bound, handwritten diaries are for the years 1957-1962. Bowman recorded his experiences travelling by boat to Canada, by train across Canada, working in Vancouver and Yukon, and his return voyages in 1959 and 1960. There is a folder containing Bowman's British driving licenses, letter of reference, ex-prisoner of war identity card, other identification cards, notices of appointment in Navy, Army and Air Force institutes, newspaper clippings, postcards, ship passenger lists, certificates and a German pamphlet. The photographs were taken or collected by Bowman and document his life in the north and his journeys to and from the Yukon.

This fonds consists of Robert Coutts' personal papers and his Yukon material and includes manuscripts, photographs, rare books, pamphlets, newspapers, maps, a filmstrip, sound recording and ephemera acquired from dealers and other sources throughout the world.

The photographs are primarily of Dawson City's downtown district including numerous street scenes (dog-pulled wagons, McLennan & McFeely stores, the waterfront, the fire of 1898). There are also numerous photos depicting mining scenes and miners on the Yukon creeks, including a picture of R. P. McLennan. Miscellaneous photos show Grand Forks, the Miles Canyon tramways, Lake Bennett, First Nation camps, sternwheelers and the Tagish North West Mounted Police (NWMP) post.

The fonds consists of a copy of a report entitled, "Archaeological Survey of the Proposed U.S. Border Station at Pleasant Camp, Alaska" written by Robert D. Shaw and William H. Adams. The survey, undertaken in May 1976, included an examination of buildings, photographs of the buildings, and the taking of oral histories from some inhabitants of the area. The report also draws on published historical references and unpublished photographs for information. It includes maps, descriptions of building structures and a series of recommendations.

The fonds consists of copy negatives and black and white reference prints, 21 x 26 cm, taken by Holway when he was involved in dismantling the Ballarat Creek pipe section of the Yukon Ditch, from March to May 1966. The images are of the Yukon Ditch and activities associated with the dismantling of the section of pipe.
