The fonds consists of the business records of the Connolly's trap lines, outfitting business, the Trading Post and the Trails End Ranch, as well as photographs of the family and the Ross River area. The business records include correspondence, maps, fur trading licenses, property insurance, land leases, livestock registration, correspondence arising from importing horses, tax assessment, Workman's Compensation claims and ration lists from the Indian Superintendent for the food the Trading Post was to provide to the Ross River people in 1955. The fonds also includes the 1955 Trapline Register for the Ross River region and two note-pad diaries, 1936-1937, from Joe Ladue, a fellow trapper, as well as a letter from Sheldon Lake trapper Frank Cook and a newsclipping of the death of Frank's brother Leslie (82/188). There is also a copy of a form letter Tom sent out as president of the Yukon Outfitters' Association (80/140). The photographs show the Connolly family in Ross River, Keel Lake Camp; the Lapie River; the ranch buildings and livestock; portraits of Teslin and Ross River native people; Stu MacPherson in MacPherson's Drugstore, ca. 1955; and an aerial photograph of four sternwheelers in permanent dry-dock in Whitehorse (82/343 and 82/357). The glass lantern slides have the captions: "Pet Bear, Spruce Creek, Atlin, B.C." and "Ice King's Triumphant Arch, Llewellyn Glacier, Aug. 28, 1919". In addition there is one accession that contains 5 pamphlets, 2 posters and 1 map (91/47). This accession is still in the process of being described.
