The fonds consists of his account book recording purchases made from "Messrs Baker & McColl" general store (location unknown). Purchases included food items (butter, molasses, sugar, rolled oats, mustard, coffee, tea, biscuits, etc.), clothing and sewing supplies (shoes, drawers, fabric, scissors, socks, braces, buttons, thread, etc.), and various household and hardware supplies (broom, paint, soap, lamp glasses, axe handle, etc.).
