The fonds consists of photographs of Athabasca citizens and scenes; the program for the second annual bonspiel of the Athabasca Curling Club; the prize list for the Athabasca and District Agricultural Association, 1918; the programme for the opening of Athabasca Public School in Feb., 1914; the deed of sale of Mr. Falconer's share of Athabasca Funeral Supply Co.to Harvey Cull in 1919; a mallet used for caulking scows; an Indian bead work moccasin and glove. Some of the subjects in the photographs include: Athabasca Curling Club [1912], SS Fort McMurray, Athabasca Canadian Northern train station, ferry on Athabasca River, view of Strathcona Street [1911] and [1940s], Athabasca Hospital 1922-1952, men lined up to purchase Hudson's Bay and CNR lots in 1911, Pelican Portage, Falconer Hardware Store on Skinner Street just after the fire of 1913, Northern News building [1911], Louis Menard's field of fall wheat, laying of corner stone for new public school in 1913, and a photo of Frank L. Falconer. The four people interviewed were Jettie O. (Day) Willey (1887-1978), Rosanna (Goulet) Shank (1892-1981, Hugo Carlson (1890-1977) and Rev. Bruce Rathbone. The first three interviewees discussed teaching, power companies, MacLeod's Creamery, the 1913 fire, Isaie Gagnon, Smith and Wood sawmill, commercial fishing, raising foxes, livery stables and theatres.
Rev. Rathbone, rector of All Saints Anglican Church, discussed the history of the Anglican Church in Athabasca, the first printing press, the diocese bishops, the satellite churches in the area, the St. Mary's Hostel for Girls and the Bishop Young Memorial Boy's Hostel.

The fonds consists of a 1922 letter from the Grosmont Municipal District regarding quarantine regulations for scarlet fever: two store receipt books for 1947-1948; and municipal tax receipts for 1955, 1956 and 1959. There are four calendars from local stores and the Aug.4, 2005 issue of Western Producers Western People which has an article on the Major family "100 Century Farm". Allan James tax receipt for 1927 is included.

The fonds consists of 28 photographs collected by Don Stephenson of a [1927] Edmonton-Athabasca-Peace River Highway motor tour; pictures of Athabasca buildings; and the 1944 flood. The Athabasca buildings include: All Saints Anglican Church, Imperial Bank of Canada, Grand Union Hotel, Municipal Hospital, Public School, and views of Skinner Street and Wood Avenue, Baptiste Lake, ferry, cable cage and grain elevators.

The fonds consists of Vol.2, No.1, March 1966: Alberta Folklore and Local History Collection; A Project Study of Athabasca and District for a Planned Heavy Water Plant, 1966; Grade 3-6 teaching guides for Our Place in the Province; and library book #176 which is a 1970 U of A MA thesis: The Process of Rural Settlement in the Athabasca Area, Alberta by Donald Norman George Stone. The CD was recorded in 1979 by the band "The Gemtones," which included Nadine Kiselyk, Art Thomson, Frank Bubel, Duane Workman, and Moe Breckenridge.

There is also a certificate for 10 shares purchased in Athabasca Clay Products in November, 1967.
