The fonds consists of textual records,and one copied photograph. All records dated after 2009 are conservation copies. The textual records primarily consist of documents related to the proposed Slave River Hydroelectric Project and various studies conducted in the Mackenzie River Basin. These records include: studies and reports, periodicals, photocopied publications, pamphlets, newspaper clippings, correspondence and envelopes, notes, photocopied papers related to the construction of the Bighorn and Brazeau Dams, a Dene Nation Newsletter, photocopied and hand drawn maps and figures, and overhead transparencies. The copied photograph in the fonds depicts the Mackenzie Delta from an aerial perspective.

The fonds consists of photographs which include: Ilene Harps and Clayton Watt at their wedding with attendees Gordon Harps, Walter Steinle and June Harps; pictures of machinery and bridge construction, Larry Bush,chief engineer; and Ed Ryason, the cook. The five sheets of text are Walter's recollection of the construction camp and men and two stories of events that he experienced.
The fonds consists of scenes of men, horses and machines at work; two views of cutting down the west hill coming into Athabasca; a car driving on a road through walls of snow; and three postcards sent to or by Mrs. Ross.

The fonds consists of 10 photograhs including Billy and Agatha's wedding, their children, the 1919 Fort McMurray Board of Trade, running the Grand Rapids, the SS Athabasca River in 1937, and the SS Northland Echo. There is also an audio cassette taped in 2003 of a conversation with Billy's daughter, Ellen Bishop; her daughter, Carol Yayechnick; and a nephew, William Loutit. The fonds consists of 28 original black and white photographs, 7 photographs developed from negatives, and two pages of excerpts from letters written to his fiance. The excerpts are filed with the photographs. The photos include: Athabasca, Grand Rapids and tramway, House River, oil well drilling rigs, Pelican gas wells, and steamboats.
