The fonds consists of records from Clayton Calberry's work as an enumerator for the polling division #53 for the federal election of 1945, as a poundkeeper for the area, 1944-1965, and as a school trustee for the East Smoky School Division (1938-1954) including minutes and finances and a register from the Ravenna School 1940-41.

The fonds consists of records related to the administration and activities of the Municipal District of Spirit River including holding council meetings, passing by-laws, administering the M.D.’s finances, and assessing property and collecting taxes. The fonds also includes associated records containing historical information about the M.D. and vital statistics relating to the M.D.’s residents. The material dates from 1917 to 2001 and includes records such as minutes, by-laws, financial statements, cash books, general ledgers, miscellaneous financial ledgers, assessment and tax rolls and forms, tax arrears lists, miscellaneous tax ledgers, newspaper clippings, photographs, burial registers, and birth, marriage and death registers.

Most of the records were originally housed in binders, ledgers, and bound books, many of which have been retained in their original form. In general, the archivist has arranged these ledgers and books according to type and chronology, maintaining original order in most cases.

Macklin as a high school graduate, a university graduate, in the U of T Glee Club, in Grande Prairie with his wife Nellie and Dr. & Mrs. Forbes, on the UFA Board of Directors, as a candidate for the CCF party, at an NDP convention, and as an elderly man at home. The written records consists of a 1910 U of T yearbook; a book of Alberta Cooperative Leaders; a booklet containing many of Macklin’s speeches and radio addresses, called Life is More Than Meat; and some newspaper articles about the life of I.V. Macklin written in 1971. An accrual included a Macklin historical record, "Macklin Road" by Kenneth Macklin.

The fonds consists of one minute book from 1920-1926 which detail the decisions and activities of UFA Local 376. Inside the rear cover of the minute book is a list of all the members who bought binder twine through the UFA for the 1926 harvest.

The fonds consists of personal papers and photographs belonging to members of the Lunde family. The fonds includes a 1927 Norweigian passport issued to Marie Bernfine Jorgensen Lunde, Olaf Lunde's 1941 National War Services Regulations (Recruits), Olaf Lunde's 1952 car insurance policy, the County of Grande Prairie's 1960 Auditor's Financial Statement and Annual Report of the Agricultural Service Board addressed to Jorenson O. Lunde, the 1961 United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative Limited List of Members and Nomination Paper Sub-District "G-31", and a Christmas card and note sent in 1979 from Olaf to J. Lunde at LaGlace.

The fonds also includes thirteen photographs believed to be of or have been sent to the Lunde family, although some of them may be Postman family photographs, since the two collections were mixed together at one point. The photographs include school, family, and wedding portraits, a platoon photograph, and photographs of family members and houses.

The records have been separated from the Postman family records (see fonds 515) and arranged in chronological order by the Archivist.
