The fonds consists of correspondence, research notes, records of organizations in which she was active, articles, newsclippings, scrapbooks of reminiscences of Calgary art scene in 1920s and 1930s, and manuscript on Donald Cameron by Elizabeth Motherwell (at M-6853). Includes 1913 plans for Motherwell house (at M-7578). Also includes First World War photographs of William and of the International Boundary Survey (1872-1874) (at PD-19). The latter photographs were originally owned by William Frederick King.

Eileen Atkinson fonds

The fonds consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings and musical programs compiled by Eileen as a young girl (1934-1940), which includes programs and reviews of her own musical activities as well as those of her contemporaries: Mary Tierney, Noel Cook (later Noel Taylor), Mary Lesingham Shortt, Evelyne Pearson, Kathleen Tierney, Odette de Foras, and orchestra conductors Grigori Garbovitsky and Jascha Galperin. Many of the musical events were held at the Grand Theatre. The fonds also includes a folder of Evelyne Pearson's clippings, programs, letters and photos (1925-1937), which were also in the possession of Eileen Atkinson.

Includes submissions and reports related to First Nations self-government and to amendments to the Indian Act to restore status to First Nations women who married non-natives.
