Montrose House was built in Grande Prairie by Rev. Alexander and Agnes Forbes in 1912. It was attached to a six bed wing operating as a hospital.

Montrose House, the home of Rev. & Mrs. Forbes, which also housed the nurses for the first hospital in Grande Prairie.
