Maxim Tomyn fonds

There are also personal correspondence files intermingled with these records, as well as some financial records pertaining to the municipality and school districts.

Gordon Taylor fonds

The fonds consists of material used, maintained, and created by Gordon Taylor while serving as Minister of Highways from 1958-2967, as a Member of Parliament for the Progressive Conservatives dating from 1979 to 1988, and as the Social Credit MLA for Drumheller constituency. The fonds also consists of records from the real estate and insurance businesses Taylor purchased in Drumheller in 1946, and from “Camp Gordon,” which he organized and ran from 1932-1966. Types of records in the fonds include copies of House of Commons proceedings; and office files consisting of research notes, clippings, conference packages, correspondence, speeches, addresses, maps, and photographs. Subjects discussed in the files include abortion, religion, First Nations, immigration, rural Alberta, transportation, natural resources, utilities, and labour and unions.
