Items consist of one negative, one original print and one copy print of the float. Title is taken from the subject matter of the photograph;The float is parked outside of Calgary's first steam plant, the Atlantic Avenue plant. Gladys Belbin is in the centre of the photo. She was employed as a clerk, secretary and records clerk. She was hired on July 24,1922. She was also the Superintendent/General Manager's Secretary from 1929-1964. Dance card for the 50th Anniversary celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Edward Hay at Lockport, Manitoba dated 1914. Edward Henry George Gunter Hay was the first MLA in the 1870 Manitoba parliament for St. Andrews South. He married Frances Gibson at St. Andrews, Manitoba in 1864.

Parade in honour of the Coronation of King George VI. The photograph shows the royal carriage driven by Elbert DeBolt with the "King", "Queen", and their attendants inside.
