The fonds consists of family histories, school and church histories, community services and activities histories and miscellaneous writings, news clippings and correspondence used for producing The Big Bend, a community history book covering the areas of Blueberry Creek, Blueberyy Mountain, Fourth Creek, Ksituan, Silver Valley, and Whitburn.
The fonds consists of records relating to the Bay Tree Community Club. They are divided into four series: minutes, financial records, correspondence and quilting, which the ladies used as a fundraiser. The correspondence includes information of the closing of the Silver Valley Campsite. The records were in no particular order when they arrived, but the minutes were grouped together in duotangs labeled with the year. It should be noted that there are balance sheets in the duotangs with the minutes, and original order has been maintained. Taped to the inside cover of one of the duotangs was a photo marked 1991. This was removed and added to the other photos of quilts.
The fonds consists of six minute books created after the August 1945 re-organization of the Buffalo Lakes Ladies Club. The minutes include records of monthly and annual meetings, lists of members, financial statements, financial ledgers which show the monthly activities, and documents relating to events which the club organized.
The fonds consists of minute books from 1927-1981, financial records for 1981 and annual reports from 1928-1985. The records had been organized before arriving at the archives, and were retained by the archivist in their original order.
The fonds consists of minute books, financial records, correspondence, annual returns, grant files, records relating to the North Kleskun Athletic Club, insurance and tax records, and records relating to the Kleskun Community Hall. There are also 30 color photographs taken at various events at the community hall between 1983-1990.
The fonds consists of minute books 1948-1999, financial records 1949-1997, correspondence 1949-1998, cook books (1982 and 1992), records relating to the Kleskun School Reunion 1987, and the Ladies Club Reunion 1990. There are also 58 photographs taken of club members, various events, and quilts made by the club. There was no discernible original order in the records when they arrived. Order was imposed on them by the archivist based on the content of the records.
The fonds consists of correspondence between various government bodies and those interested in establishing the cemetery from 1944-1959. They include letters relating to acquiring government approval for establishing a cemetery in 1944-1945, on-going correspondence, and a duplicate certificate of title issued to the Many Creeks Cemetery Company in 1945.
The fonds consists of records relating to the management of the Buffalo Lakes Community Society from 1946-1999. The fonds is divided into seven series based on type and content: Minutes, Financial Records, Annual Returns, Legal Papers, Insurance Records, Correspondence, and Photographs. Most of the records were not arranged upon arrival and an order by date and record type has been established by the archivist.
