Tom Innes was the political cartoonist for the Calgary Herald newspaper. Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau shown as knight. Issue: After months of inactivity in the wake of the election victory of the separtist Parti Quebecois, Trudeau threw down the gauntlet against the PQ while on a three-day trip to the province to campaign for five upcoming by-elections. He flatly declared the province would not separate from Canada, and accused Quebec Premier Rene Levesque of using a recent trip to New York to destroy Canada's credibility with the American business community.<br><br>
