General note
This image depicts Father Lacombe Lacombe Home which was for the elderly and orphans of Midnapore, Alberta. It opened in 1910, through the generosity of Lacombe's friends, such as Pat Burns, who donated a 2000 acre farm, cattle, and money. Father Lacombe lived at Lacombe Home under the care of the Sisters of Providence of Montreal until his death on Nov. 11, 1916. His heart is preserved there.
