Melvin Pearly Barr (1923-) was born on July 3, 1923 and raised by his parents Donald and Irene Barr. He served as a Private Medical Corp. in the Army from 1940-1946 in Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, and England. After his discharge, Melvin worked as a male nurse in the Rimbey, Alberta Hospital. He is currently retired and lived in Leduc, Alberta. His hobbies include singing, fishing, golfing, and camping.<br><br>
