Louie Bernard Wilk (1920-1966) was born on November 30, 1920 to Lawrence and Julia Wilk. He was raised in Round Hill near Camrose, Alberta. Louise served as an ACI Leading Aircraft man from 1942 to 1945. He received the Canadian Volunteer Medal, Maple Leaf Clasp. Louie married Myrtle Wold in 1947 and they spent their married life on an acreage near Millet, Alberta. They had five children. On November 21, 1966 Louie passed away suddenly due to a heart attack. The home property was sold after Myrtle passed away and is now known as Wilk Estates on Wilk Drive.<br><br>
