General note
Studio portrait of S.I. Poole and unknown woman in convocation robes, Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Since the man in the photo is wearing what appears to be lawyers robes, he may be identified as Stanley Poole son of John Irving Poole, Clerk of the District Court in Wetaskiwin. Stanley Poole practiced law in Daysland until his untimely death at the age of forty in 1936.
