Photograph of the Hans Stuve Residence in New Norway, Alberta, showing his house, a barn, and a car. Mr. and Mrs. Hans Stuve followed their oldest sons Elmer and Ingvald to the area from South Dakota in 1905. They brought their other children Emma, Ida, Palma, and Harold with them and another daughter, Mrs. Helga Twidt, came later with her husband and children. The Stuves built a house on their property E 1/2 7, but Mrs. Stuve died of diabetes before its completion. Mr. Stuve lived to be 96 years old.<br><br>
