Studio portrait of local pioneer Florence Angus, wife of R.M. Angus. Mrs. Angus was born Florence Donladson near Buckingham, Labelle County, Quebec on June 22, 1866. On May 14, 1888 she married Robert MacLachlan Angus in Detroit Michigan, and in 1892 they moved south of Wetaskiwin to what is now called the Angus Ridge district. They moved to Wetaskiwin in 1903, where Mr. Angus became active in politics and served as a Police Magistrate.
