General note
Consists of the official diary kept by officers in charge of the Castle Mountain Internment Camp near Banff, Alberta, a facility which was established during the First World War to detain prisoners of war and enemy aliens. The entries record the physical establishment of the Camp, work undertaken by prisoners, escapes and recaptures of prisoners, innoculations, a hunger strike, and the weather.
