Consists of a drawing of the events at Blackfoot Crossing in 1877 when Treaty 7 was signed. It is annotated on the back:<br>"Lower left - Crowfoot's camp. Crowfoot leaving in wagon with NWMP escort.<br>Upper left - Medicine Shield's camp. Medicine Shield was ready to accept treaty (man in circle at lower right) but Crowfoot held him off until he had decided.<br>Top left - NWMP with cannons. Between flags, left to right, are Col. Macleod, Gov. Laird, Crowfoot and an NWMP sergeant (name forgotten). In front, Indian chiefs who have come (see lines) to sign.<br>Other camps along Bow River, left to right, are Bloods, Peigans, Sarcees and Stonies."
