Consists of a diary kept by Arthur Turner of Calgary, Alberta, who served with the 50th Battalion CEF in France during the First World War. The diary entries record his life at the front and in the trenches, the Battle of Passchendaele, Armistice and demobilization. Parts of the diary have been blacked out by censors.
