Notice biographique

The Jasper Community History Book Association was established September 17, 1992 to write and publish a book on the human history of Jasper town site and related outlying areas. The history commences with the first inhabitants of the valley and concludes at around the time the book went to publication (1996), as many ended their family biographies with what family members were doing at time of submission. The book "Jasper Reflections" is hardcover with historical text, stories, photos, graphics and maps. The most crucial element of the project was the volunteer commitment. Many residents and former residents compiled stories and sent photographs describing Jasper and the time they spent here. Thus, this accession is composed of not only the organizational , funding and financial documents from the Association, but also the stories and some of the photographs received.
