History

Les Chantamis choir was founded as a cultural charitable organization in 1967 in Edmonton by Léonard Rousseau. This francophone choir is composed of volunteer singers, men and women, and perform regularly across Canada. It is one of the oldest choirs in Alberta and it is still active. The choir is known for preserving French-Canadian musical culture in Western Canada.
