Biographical history
The Athabasca & District Hockey Association was formed in January 1967 to organize the various hockey teams into one group. Mention was made at that time of mothers who ran the concession booth. The earliest record of the Athabasca Hockey Mothers Association was in 1970; of the Mothers Auxilliary to the Athabasca Hockey Association in 1980. Both are unincorporated associations.
