Biographical history
Octave Chevigny was born in 1934 to Octave Chevigny Sr. and Dellamen Plamondon. Plamondon, her 1st husband, Albert Chevigny, and her 2nd husband, Octave Chevigny Sr. all lived in St. Albert.
Custodial history
There are two separate donations related to this fonds. The first set of photographs were found in Octave Chevigny Jr.'s shed after his death on 24 Mar. 2014. His daughter, Rachelle Bourassa, gave them to Emilie Chevigny who in turn donated them to the Musée Héritage Museum. Octave is Emilie's brother-in-law.
The next set of photographs were donated directly by Rachelle Bourassa in 2015.
All photographs are thought to have been originally owned by Octave's mother, Dellamen Plamondon.
