History

Sydney Earnest Palmer left England and moved to Canada in 1909. He settled for a while in Manitoba before serving in France during the Second World War. He served with the Royal Canadian Dragoons and achieved the rank of Lance Corporal. Upon his return to Canada he moved to Strathcona, Alberta around 1920 and established a dairy farm. He married his wife Joanna in 1924.
