The sub-series consists of collections of 8" x 10" mostly b&w photographs of events in Grande Prairie between 1958 and 1975. These include the opening of the Grande Prairie Post Office in 1952, the flooding of Bear Creek in the late 50s, the City Charter coming to Grande Prairie in 1958, aerial views and landmarks in Grande Prairie as well as a County Fair parade c. 1960, and an Air Show, the new Vocational High School, and the opening of the Alberta Resources Railway (which are in colour) c. 1970.
