Biographical history

Richard Lux was an engineer who worked on the surveying for the Alaska pipeline with the Fluor Corporation.

Custodial history

Edwin Welch, the Northwest Territories Territorial Archivist, received these slides from Grant Devitt. Mr. Devitt was given these slides by his aunt, who in turn had received them in the Western States from Gladys Lux, wife of Richard Lux.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of original slides, taken by Richard Lux, of the Yukon and Alaska and include views of rivers, creeks, buildings and roads.
