Richmond Park Methodist Church was established ca. 1913. The congregation joined in church union in 1925 to become Richmond Park United Church.

Biografie
Calvin United Church was established in 1925 upon the creation of The United Church of Canada from a union of the Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational denominations. The origin of the congregation is from Calvin Presbyterian Church that was established in 1914. According to the United Church Year Books, Calvin United Church was part of multi-point charges which at various times included Calvin, Avonmore, Forest Heights and Rabbit Hill United Churches. The congregation disbanded and the church closed in 1960.
Geschiedenis beheer
These records were found in the Calvin United Church fonds. Ca. 1929, Richmond United (formerly Methodist) Church was sold and the proceeds from the sale went to Avonmore United Church. Ca. 1929, Avonmore was part of a three point charge that included the Avonmore, Calvin, and Riverside United Churches. It is likely that is how the Riverside Methodist Church records came to be at Calvin United Church. The records were deposited in the Conference Archives pre-1975 and no further documentation exists.
