Biographical history
Romano Truant emigrated from Italy to Nordegg, Alberta, and operated a boarding house there circa (ca.) 1926. He later moved to Red Deer, Alberta and ca. 1934 began working for the Red Deer Bottle Company, of which he later became president. Truant was also a member of the Canadian Legion local in Nordegg and attended its first meeting in 1929.

Fonds consists of copied photographs dated 1921-1929 that depict aspects of Nordegg, Alberta including a boarding house, street views, cars, houses, and members of the Nordegg Canadian Legion.
