Biographical history
Roy Gordon Kaiser, 1915-2003, was born in Beddington, Alberta. He attended Crescent Heights High School in Calgary, Alberta and then worked for Union Packing and Anderson Plumbing before starting a 34 year career with the Calgary Municipal Railway (later Calgary Transit) as a streetcar and bus operator. He retired in 1976. He and his wife Wendy had two sons, Wilf and Paul.

The fonds consists of pamphlets, timetables, and other records of the Calgary Municipal Railway and Calgary Transit; and dues cards for the Calgary Municipal Railway Association.
