Subseries consists of photographs of the Edmonton portion of the official state visit of The Prince and Princess of Wales to Canada in 1983. Prince Charles and Princess Diana, The Prince and Princess, toured cities in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Ontario, and finally Edmonton, Alberta.
On July 1, 1983, The Prince and Princess officially opened the 1983 Universiade Games held in Edmonton, which took place from July 1 - 11, 1983. The photographs in this subseries cover The Prince and Princess' stay in Edmonton from June 29 - July 1, 1983.
Also included is the athlete's village handbook and other paraphernalia from the Universiade Games.
