Biographical history

Ted Helgeson was a chief mechanical inspector for the City of Medicine Hat. His father also worked for the city as a pipefitter and meter mechanic for the gas department in 1917. Ted was a plumber for 16 years before joining the city. He married Ethel Gargett.

The fonds consists of images of members of the Carson Creek Rats, members of a local hockey team; Elizabeth Street School class photos, 1926; Kinsmen photos, photo of a play cast; local men in uniform during First World War and Second World War. Also includes bound booklet "Family Matters: A COllection of Poetry, Stories and Memories", by Ethel Helgeson and Family.
