Biographical history

Agricultural economist, 1921- . Travis W. Manning was the first Chair (1962-1974) of the new Department of Agricultural Economics (now Rural Economy) at the University. When he retired in 1983 he was named Professor Emeritus. His special fields are marketing and natural resource economics.
