The United Farmers Historical Society (UFHS) was founded in 2002 to steward and promote the historical records and artifacts of the United Farmers of Alberta, showcasing the cooperative's contributions to agriculture and life in and around Alberta.

The UFHS archives holds records of the United Farmers of Alberta from its origins in 1909 as a political organization through the emergence of the UFA Co-operative Limited in the 1930s, to the present day. UFHS also holds records donated by UFA members, elected officials, and employees, as well as records transferred from UFA Co-operative Limited for permanent preservation.
The UFHS archives includes:
Over 35 metres of textual records
Over 7000 photographs
Numerous sound and video recordings
The UFA Co-operator magazine 1963-67
The United Farmer magazine 1967-84
The U.F.A. newspaper 1922-34
