History

Originally known as the Student Employment Centre, the name was changed to Career Services in 1998. Career Services provides recruitment services to employers. For students and alumni, help is offered to explore different career options, gain experience and secure employment once they have graduated. Career Services posts employment positions online as a service for students and alumni and provides information on upcoming career-related events such as workshops, company briefing and information sessions. The co-operative education and internship programs are offered which integrate university study with degree-related work experience. Also, Career Services supplies job search strategies and have assembled employment-related resources. Personalized assistance with resumes, job search and interview skills are offered by appointment and opportunities to meet with empoyers on-campus.
