Biographical history

Walter Bilawich is a resident of Whitehorse, Yukon.

Custodial history

Walter Bilawich found the maps in a Yukon Government office recycling bin which presumably came from the Yukon Government engineering files. He donated them to MacBride Museum in 1996.

Scope and content

The collection consists of copies of survey plans of Dawson City, Yukon and the surrounding area, including Klondike City, Klondyke Island, West Dawson, Ogilvie Bridge, Hunker Rd., Ridge Road, Wake's Island, Landry's Island, South Dome, Moosehide, Bonanza town site, Old Dawson-Whitehorse Trail, Stewart River, Sixtymile River and Indian River.
